We invited KAWALA into The Idle Man studio just days before they were set to embark on their European tour with Bombay Bicycle Club. This was, of course, pre the U.K Government’s social distancing and travel restriction measures were put in place in response to the outbreak of COVID-19. Since then, their tour has been postponed and, like the majority of musicians in the industry, they are finding new challenging and exciting ways to engage with their ever-growing audience.
We joined Ollie Olanipekun, Founder and Creative Director of Superimpose Creative Agency, in his East London home to discuss his unique path into the industry, how he keeps digital connections positive and his unexpected venture into hot sauce creation, with the newly launched NO CHILL.
We met with London-based artist and printmaker Jonathan Lawes. Renowned for creating abstract screen prints, Jonathan's compositions reflect his love of geometry, shape and pattern. Having recently relocated to London from Berlin, we crossed the river and joined him in his Peckham studio, in South East London, where he talked us through is creative process.

Born and based in London the chart-toppers dropped new music towards the end of this year with friend and collaborator, Jack Savoretti with ‘You And Me As One’. Since starting out the duo has built up unstoppable momentum releasing bangers after bangers, their latest track followed up their summer remix of Dilemma.
