Can you tell us a little bit about what you do and when you got into it?
My curiosity for fashion and lifestyle began at an early age. My parents tell me I was always very picky about how I was dressed, right from the age of three! I have a brief stint in the world of Bollywood and acted in my first film when I was nine years old, in Deepa Mehta’s 1947 Earth.
I went on to model when I grew older and dabble in this field. My hobby for blogging and posting about my personal style and health and beauty tips on Instagram gradually started to grow into a gainful pursuit. I also work with a leisure travel group based in India, which involves planning holidays and exposure to exciting new destinations. One of my favourite things to do is sit at a coffee shop at Sloan Square, London, and “people watch”. The streets in London are like a fashion runway!
How was 2015? Any major highlights?
I grew and learnt a lot over the last year. I started using YouTube/vlogging, which has been really fun and allowed me to interact with my audience in a very different capacity. I had a fantastic opportunity to work with beauty brands like Maybelline and Lakme and the renowned Indian jeweller ‘Kalyan jewelers’, to name a few. On a more personal front – my beagle puppy Coco came into my life this year – I now have two – Coco & Cleo. They are the most affectionate dogs and such posers too!
What song have you got on repeat at the moment?
I am currently obsessed with Robin Schulz- Headlights (feat IIsey)
What fashion advice do you have for a man?
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice what would it be?
“Never doubt how truly amazing j you really are. Believe in yourself and stop comparing yourself to others.”
