Can you tell us a little bit about what you do and when you got into it?
I am the director of One Life Models and am also celebrity stylist. I started the agency 4 years ago after being in the industry myself for ten or so years. I always had a thing for style and used to keep books of cut out pics from magazines of clothes and shoots that I loved. I put myself through a styling course and then began to style campaigns that fit the boho/ocean kind of vibe.
I’ve found a way where I can release my creative side and match it to my favourite things…..the ocean lifestyle. I’ve been so fortunate to connect with some amazing creatives in the industry and am really looking forward to what the future holds.
How’s your year been so far? Any major highlights?
The New Year has started with a bang! I’ve had models cast and be chosen for major campaigns and working with some pretty well known Australian labels. I got my first styling cover with Maxim magazine which gets a big tick off my goal list and have had my styling work featured in two other magazines.
What song have you got on repeat at the moment?
I do love a bit of Justin Bieber, I’m not going to lie, Love yourself is on repeat as well as Gold by Kiiara. Love Rufus and Disclosure, bit of RnB. I pretty much love most genres of music.
What fashion advice do you have for a man?
For the man…don’t try too hard. Keep it simple and stay true to your own sense of style. I do love chinos on a guy and a plain white tee is a must and if you’re buying a suit invest in getting it tailored to fit your body perfectly.
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice what would it be?
Those long hair extensions were not a good look. Less is more and natural beauty shines bright.
1 tip to grow your Instagram account?
Post regularly with images that really showcase your personality and lifestyle and always keep it positive.
What’s the one thing you never want to see a guy wearing?
I can’t stand it when guys who attend certain music festivals wear shorts that are clearly too tight, too short and definitely not hot!
Any major plans for 2016?
Loads of plans….hoping to style an international campaign, invest in property, style as much as possible and book in as many babe models through the agency as possible….I also wouldn’t mind falling in love.
What is your one guilty pleasure?
Cheese!!! I go wild for a cheese platter
Who’s the most stylish man on the planet for you right now?
Stylish man….I could pretty much stare at tattooed model, Stephen James, forever so I’m going to say him. His style is simple and gives off that bad boy image but so damn fine.
