How was 2015? Any major highlights?

2015 treated me well. I’ve been living in New York for a little over 3 years and it was my best year yet! I truly found myself and my niche. I worked on a lot of great projects including promo work for The Wendy Show and Celebrity Apprentice, and I networked with numerous brands like ASOS Menswear, All Saints Live, Reason Clothing and EBOOST natural energy drinks. I can only imagine what 2016 will bring!

What song have you got on repeat at the moment?

I’ve never really been that mainstream kid that loves what’s on radio. I can appreciate all types of music, however I love music from independent artists where their talent can be expressed at their highest sonic level. I’m obsessed with Dawn Richard. She’s truly a genius and it’s hard to name one particular record she puts out because everything is so different, yet vocally, lyrically, and production-wise amazing. I also love this song C.U.R.E. by Boots and Love Again by Ta-Ku.

Last, but certainly not least,  I love Moxiie from her beginning works to her latest record Chaos. Her style is so dope. I’ve had brief conversations with her and I can tell she’s a dope person as well. I just love good, “vibey” music. Music and fashion is all I need. It’s help build my core and mold the person I am today

What’s the most important thing about a guy’s style to you?

A tailor! That is actually something my sister told me and it stuck. I tell everyone to develop a relationship with a tailor that understand your style and body. It’s something small that goes a long way.

What fashion advice do you have for a man?

Don’t be afraid to experiment. Fashion is meant to be fun. Also, when in doubt, BLACK!image5

1 tip to grow your Instagram account?

I’m asked this all the time. Understand your brand and target audience. What you see on my Instagram is real, but that is a fraction of my life. I am so much more than fashion, shoots, and networking. I view Instagram as a job, as weird as that may sound, that helps me get other jobs. We live in a world of likes and the scroll. People prefer super-fabulous, not super-basic. Also, don’t be afraid of #hashtags

What’s the one thing you never want to see a guy wearing?

Anything that looks too comfortable – loungewear. Please guys, don’t leave your house with anything baggy, ill fitting, or sandals/flip flops with socks.

Worst dating experience you’ve had?

I dated someone a couple years ago that I really liked, but found out was dating my best friend at the same time and same places. Yikes!

Who’s the most stylish man on the planet for you right now?

Idris Elba and Oliver Rousteing
