Can you tell us a little bit about what you do and when you got into it?
I’m excited to announce that I’ll be launching my own site very soon! It’s called The Anna Report and I want it to the be the number one destination for all my LA locals and visitors who are looking to find the next best restaurant, cool shop, fun event, hip fitness class, or where to best get groomed and pampered.
How’s 2015 been for you? Any major highlights?
2015 was a huge year for me because after 8+ years on the TV show TMZ, I moved on and was able to create The Anna Report. As challenging and emotional as it was for me, it was also a huge growing process. I’ve come out of it more fearless than I’ve ever been. Watch out if you come to me for my opinion because I will give you my unapologetic truth. I have to be true to myself if I’m going to be doing reviews for my readers who will trust me with recommendations on how and where to spend their hard earned money and valuable time.
What song have you got on repeat at the moment?
Coldplay ft Beyonce – Hymn For The Weekend. It lifts me up and gets me through these chaotic and exciting days as I prepare for my website launch.
What fashion advice do you have for a man?
For the guy who isn’t fashion forward, just dress your age and keep it simple. Stay away from crazy prints and cheesy sayings. And for my stylish guys, remember that you can rock any trend as long as you wear the clothes rather than letting the clothes wear you. Confidence is key!
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice what would it be?
Nothing, I admire my younger self. I used to be carefree and fearless. I’m actually trying to go back to being my younger daredevil-self again.
1 tip to grow your Instagram account?
People who follow you on Instagram are following you because of you. So give them you. Give them what they want to see. Take lots of photos of you doing positive things that will inspire other’s to do the same. We are living in a time where we are inspired more by one another than aspiring to be like our celebrity idols. We want real life inspirations!
What’s the one thing you never want to see a guy wearing?
I never want to see a guy wearing an article of clothing with a logo bigger than the size of my little toe—whether it’s on his chest, back, or belt buckle. I love simplicity on a man when it comes to fashion. I want to see a man rock the basic t-shirt and jeans without the brand wearing him. Women love confidence in a man, therefore a confident man doesn’t depend on a name brand to jazz him up.
Any major plans for 2016?
Yes! I’m so excited for 2016, it’s the year of the monkey. I’m pumped to launch my new website, The Anna Report! Once it’s launched I can get myself into a lot of monkey business around LA.
What is your one guilty pleasure, eg a certain chocolate bar or fav restaurant?
My guilty pleasure is chocolate and ice cream. I eat so much ice cream and candy on a daily basis that I sometimes wonder when it’s going to catch up with me, and not in a flattering way. I can’t name a single restaurant, because when it comes to food, it depends on my mood. I’m fortunate to be living in Los Angeles where my unpredictable cravings can be met at all hours of the day, with amazing restaurants and endless cuisines to choose from under the sun.
Who’s the most stylish man on the planet for you right now?
Chris Evans! He’s your all American kinda guy. He’s Captain America. The only man who can wear a giant logo on his chest and still look hot to me. When he’s on a press tour, he looks so sharp in a tailored suit, with or without a beard. And when he’s just being Chris, he’s your typical guy’s guy in a t-shirt and jeans combo with not a care in the world.
