Can you tell us a little bit about what you do and when you got into it?
I am a writer/fashion blogger, I started my blog in 2012. I could follow up with “life lover” and “traveler” but we all are life lovers and travellers after all. Truth is I’ve always had a thing for writing and photography, and when the opportunity to have a blog appeared (1st year of Communication and PR college) I’ve decided to keep it and tell my story. I’ve been doing all this for four years now and I love what I do. I find it very challenging since I do something new everyday. I get to travel a lot, to meet creative people, to shoot videos and tell my story in a quite interesting and interactive kind of way.
How’s your year been so far? Any major highlights?
I’ve started a new collaboration with L’Oreal Paris, I’ve adventured into some freelance work with my new friend Mike Nicolaev (photographer), we are about to shoot our 3rd time for Luisaviaroma. I can say things are going good, and when it’s going good it’s going great.
This year it was a bit more difficult to get into the mood and back to work again, but once I started posting and shooting and recording, I couldn’t stop and new ideas flowed so naturally, 2016 will be my year. I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching, I’m turning 24 this year and I’m slowly getting to know myself better, I read a lot, I’m on my own path and I can’t wait to see what 2016 has to offer me.
What song have you got on repeat at the moment?
Pitto – Walking by the sea (found it on OffRadio yesterday while I was flying to Bucharest for a project)
What fashion advice do you have for a man?
I think the most important thing would be to always be in the mood to take care of yourself and your look and, everything else will fall into place. But I’m a sucker for leather jackets, so I’d say invest in a new one every season.
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice what would it be?
Be patient, good thing take time.
1 tip to grow your Instagram account
Can’t do just one, but I assume no one will be mad. Post at least three photos everyday, keep you feed clean, make sure everything you post aligns with your personality and always aim higher than you can reach. Build up your name with a personal hashtag, post some inspirational words every once in a while, and don’t forget to be genuine.
What’s the one thing you never want to see a guy wearing?
I’ll go with the stupid: speedos or socks with sandals; but oh, there are some many things to say here. I could write an article 🙂
Any major plans for 2016?
Starting my own clothing line with my best friend, visiting Asia, never quitting going to the gym, grow stronger, post more on my personal blog, shoot more videos. Buy a drone. Upgrade my BMW Z3 with some features, go out more, enjoy life.
What is your one guilty pleasure
Vintage sports cars and red wine. I really wanna’ own a Mustang someday. When it comes down to red wine, I always have a bottle around the house. Brunello di Montalcino 2007 or something.
Who’s the most stylish man on the planet for you right now?
I’m more into relaxed rocker style, so I have to give this one to Johnny Depp, even if he is not on a specific list of stylish man of 2015 or whatever. I love this picture of the young Johnny, with the sleek dark brown hair, white t-shirt and the black robust leather jacket. Argh…
