Can you tell us a little bit about what you do and when you got into it?
I have been a competitive figure skater for more than 10 years. I first started skating when my twin sister, Gracie (who happens to be the current National Champion!), performed in the local spring show. I was mesmerised by the elaborate dresses and pretty makeup!
How’s 2015 been for you? Any major highlights?
2015 was an amazing year for me. In November of 2015, I qualified for the 2016 Prudential Figure Skating Championships for the first time, which is the most prestigious competitions in the United States. It was a dream come true for me!
What song have you got on repeat at the moment?
I am a huge Halsey fan, and my current fave right now is “Is There Somewhere”. I can’t wait to see her live in July! I’m also really into indie and electropop right now.
What fashion advice do you have for a man?
First impressions are so important, especially in fashion! I like guys who look sophisticated, but also have an edge. Make sure your personality shines through as well!
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice what would it be?
I would tell my younger self to never give up on your dreams, and to listen to that voice in your head telling you to keep going!
1 tip to grow your Instagram account
Be unique! When I look for new accounts to follow, I’m much more attracted to someone who’s doing something a little different 🙂
Any major plans for 2016?
2016 should be another exciting year for me! I turn 21 in August, and I will be attending college full time in the fall. I’m hoping to major in photo journalism. I love photography! I also plan to continue my competitive figure skating career, so I’m sure I’ll be very busy training and such.
What’s the one thing you never want to see a guy wearing?
Oh gosh. I have always had a huge aversion to overalls. I guess those? Haha.
What is your one guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure would have to be sweets of any kind. I love sugar!
Who’s the most stylish man on the planet for you right now?
Ed Westwick. No question!
