Just like the Reebok Ex-O-Fit, the Reebok classic was an adaption of the popular women’s trainer the freestyle. First release in 1983 alongside the Reebok Ex-O-Fit the white Reebok classics merged style and running. The use of garment leather being applied to the running model made it a formidable running shoe that was cost effective – nothing on the market could compare at the time of it’s release. It had Bi-Density Shock Protection for stability as well as air vents for breathability, so it’s easy to say that Reebok was far forward-thinking when it came to sneaker technology.
