High end Amsterdam sneaker brand Filling Pieces are relatively new on the scene, however they are enjoying unrivalled success. They’re now releasing a new silhouette available exclusively at Amsterdam based sneaker boutique Solebox.
Filling Pieces was founded in 2009 by an architecture student, which is perhaps why they’re designed so cleanly and intricately. Since its foundation it’s had huge successes, going straight from a small home-grown business to a global sneaker manufacturer. The brand has recently collaborated with a sneaker boutique also based in Amsterdam – Solebox.
The model comes in a very aesthetically pleasing off-white and salmon pink colourway, and is constructed from leather and suede, producing a sneaker of very high quality – the norm for Filling Pieces. It features embossed branding on the exaggerated tongue, which has become a trademark FP feature. The Low Legacy Runner is Filling Pieces first take on a “Runner” style sneaker, beforehand they’ve worked exclusively on their immensely successful tennis style trainers.
If you’re looking to get your hands on a pair of these beauties, they’re releasing exclusively at Solebox. However, don’t panic – you don’t have to be Amsterdam located to grab a pair as Solebox’s online store will ship worldwide. They’re available now, and there isn’t a huge amount of hype around these so you should be pretty safe if you want to wait a while before picking your pair up, just don’t sleep on them forever. Here at The Idle Man we’re big fans of this collaboration, it’s impressively good for a brands first runner style silhouette.
