Stuck on how to fill your long weekend? Or even, how to fill up during the long weekend? Well you’re in luck as the New York Bakery Co. has come to Shoreditch with a delicious breakfast bagel pop up.
Inspired by the authentic tastes of NYC, New York Bakery Co. have a selection of mouth-watering bagels on offer for you to try this weekend. The pop up has set up camp on Bethnal Green Road in Shoreditch for the May bank holiday and we are in love. For one, it’s family-friendly and free! And what’s better than free bagels? Not much, until you try the actual bagels of course!
Serving up six takes on classic NYC bagel recipes, you can choose the one that takes your fancy the most. From smoked salmon with cream cheese to crispy American bacon and runny poached egg on a bed of smashed avocado, the choices are all NY favourites. If you want something a bit more meaty (which we would highly recommend!) go for a piled pastrami, gherkin and mustard stack instead. And the menu doesn’t end there either. You have the option to ‘build-your-own’, and with over 20 fillings and a variety of bagels on offer, you can really get stuck in.
Whether you want to give the selection of set bagels a go or if you’re feeling creative, the menu gives you all the New York City vibes. So for you meet-eaters, vegans, sweet or savoury guys, or even the most fussy ones – NY Bakery Co. is the breakfast joint that gives you something for all the whole family to enjoy.
This Bagel Breakfast Break has set up base at 133 Bethnal Green Road, London, E2 7DG, so if you’re in or around Shoreditch you’ll definitely want to be popping in for some true New York style bagels. The pop up takes you all the way to The Big Apple, with the doors opening to the public on the 26th and 27th May 2018 from 8 am to 2 pm each day.
When you step inside you’ll be given a ticket so each diner can claim their free bagel, so make sure you choose wisely! Once you’ve ordered and collected, wash the bagel down with a hot drink and pick up some juice for the youngsters. And if this wasn’t enough for you to enjoy, the breakfast benches feature blackboard table tops so you can get drawing while you devour the NYC flavours.
Walk in’s are welcome but if you want to guarantee a seat at the breakfast table, you can reserve your tickets online now. As it’s based on a first-come-first-serve basis there may be subject to availability, so if you’re reading this and fancy a trip to Shoreditch this weekend, get reserving! Tickets are FREE, but donations are welcome on the day, with all proceeds donated to The Trussell Trust.
