Whether you know him as Mac DeMarco’s former guitarist or from his monthly sets on NTS Radio, Homeshake’s third album is nothing short of dreamy and dazed love songs infused with seductive alt-rock.

Give a listen to Homeshake’s new single Call Me Up from his album Fresh Air. You can listen and buy the full album here. Homeshake will be touring the UK in May with two gigs at Scala and a performance at The Great Escape festival so you can catch him then!

What’s the first place you visit when you return from abroad?

Where’s your preferred place to chill and clear your head?

There’s a few nice parks in my neighbourhood, either one of those or my balcony.

Where’s your favourite place to eat?

Japote, a really great Japanese lunch spot. It was in a weird food court downtown but then had to move, I don’t think they’ve reopened but when they do I’ll be there getting that unagi don.

Where’s the best place to have a drink?

Brasserie Beaubien, mostly because it’s in the neighbourhood, but it also has a pool table.

A hidden gem that not a lot of people know about?

The theatre at Côte-des-Neiges mall is always 5 dollars, pretty dingy place but I love it.
