The most iconic local and international hip hop, rock and electronic artists are en route to Iceland to be a part of one of the most unique festivals worldwide. Iceland’s Secret Solstice is 92 hours of party, sunlight, and more party. From the 21st to the 24th June, you could be getting a great tan, looking at some even greater views, and hearing the greatest music thanks to The Idle Man. We have two free Iceland Secret Solstice tickets to give away – read on to find out how to enter.
Summer is coming in quick and so are the festivals. Iceland’s Secret Solstice will be welcoming this sunny season by celebrating their fifth anniversary with 96 hours of celebration. The sun will be around for 96 hours and the party will be equally as lit (literally) over this time.
The average time length for a song is three minutes – this festival goes on for 96 hours. I’ll let you do the complex math of exactly how many tracks there will be, but I can tell you, that is a lot of music.
This however, guarantees for a line-up everyone is bound to love. We have the well-known, often on repeat, music stars: Slayer, Stormzy, Gucci Mane, Bonnie Tyler, Clean Bandit, Steve Aoki, Charlotte de Witte, 6lack, GoldLink, and Skream. Plus, the soon to be on repeat contingent Icelandic artists Gísli Pálmi, Joey Christ, Sturla Atlas, Una Stef, Young Karin, all alongside plenty of other talent.
Most festivals have several stages on one patch of grass, however, Iceland’s Secret Solstice will have side events taking place in a 5000-year-old lava tunnel and inside Europe’s second largest glazier. With both hot and cold going on, you can technically experience all seasons in the space of 96 hours. If that isn’t a unique event, I do not know what is.
