As one of the most popular brands in the world, Supreme is watched with a close eye by its swarms of fans. This is particularly the case when it comes to a collaboration and the Supreme x North Face collab is one of the most hyped to date and produces some of the most coveted pieces. Now in its 18th season, here are our picks of the top pieces so far.
Supreme x The North Face Autumn/Winter 2007
This was Supreme and TNF's first outing and harkened back to the Nineties. 'Supreme' ran down the sleeve of jackets and the two colourways were a blend of earthy tones and bright colours. The linings came in a leopard print design, which has been used time and time again since.
Supreme x The North Face Autumn/Winter 2011
This collaboration saw Supreme lend its hyped touch to the popular The North Face Nuptse puffer jackets, which are now The North Face's most coveted jackets. The jackets came in gold, green and grey leopard prints and were water-resistant as well as using 700-fill goose down. If you were lucky you could even get your hand on matching roller bags. To top things off, Drake even wore one in his video for 'The Motto'.
Supreme x The North Face Spring/Summer 2014
This was the first time that both brands collaborated on the expedition coach jackets, which featured a nylon shell and a hood. The collaboration saw Supreme place flag patches and all-over map prints on the jackets. While it was a step away from previous years wherein jackets had been somewhat minimalist, these designs were bold and went down a treat with Supreme's fans. There was even one featured in the Weeknd's 'King Of The Fall' video.
Supreme x The North Face Spring/Summer 2015
This was a step in a completely different direction for the two brands and Supreme gave The North Face's jackets a complete makeover. The North Face Dot Shot parka was imbued with GORE-TEX windstopper triple-layer denim. This collection came in two parts and featured coach jackets, again in an all-over star print, while the denim design also featured on trousers and bags.
Supreme x The North Face Autumn/Winter 2015
This was a reunion for Supreme and The North Face on the popular Nuptse jacket. This time it was emblazoned with the words 'By Any Means Necessary' and was a continuation of the two brands' bold direction. The Futura font was in the same one used in Supreme's Barbara-Kruger inspired box logo.
Supreme x The North Face Spring/Summer 2016
This collaboration featured a whole load of throwback gear, harkening back to The North Face's Steep Tech-branded clothing. Sweatshirts, T-shirts and caps made up the collection and came in bright shades of yellow, red and blue.
Supreme x The North Face Autumn/Winter 2016
This collection gave fans exactly the street style pieces they wanted - bright orange jackets, leafy camo and insulated trousers and boots. Essentially a whole host of winter goods, worn by the biggest hypebeasts out there.
Supreme x The North Face Spring/Summer 2017
This collab comes at peak hype time for Supreme. The collection is pared back on its patterns, but is bold and colourful nonetheless. Clothes were decorated with the US flag, with plenty of politically charged motifs, but keeping to The North Face's heritage as an outdoor-based brand.
