Vans Old Skool

Having debuted in 1977, the classic Old Skool Vans completely elevated the brand's popularity, being the first collection to incorporate the signature "jazz stripe" on the side of the shoe, a statement which has been associated with Vans ever since. This year Vans have introduced three new vibrant colours to the collection, with varying blue hues and a statement green. Instead of sticking to your usual choice of black van, step out of your comfort zone and choose one of the new colours, essential to brightening up your summer wardrobe.

Old Skool Vans are my ultimate statement piece of footwear. I love how easy they are to adapt to absolutely any outfit or look that I'm going for on a daily basis. The new colours are completely up my street and are perfect for the new season - I'm very excited to get my hands on them!

Available in statement green and two predominant blues, the new Old Skool Vans are longing to be in your wardrobe this season. Match with a pair of jeans and a T-shirt for a casual everyday style or even a suit if you are opting for a more smart-casual look.

Vans Sk8 Hi

Introducing another skate shoe featuring the renown "jazz stripe", the Sk8 Hi Vans became yet again another iconic shoe to add to the brand. Being a hi-top trainer, it was perfect for protecting the bones of skateboarders all over the world, as well as being the number one shoe that everybody wanted to get their hands on. Here at The Idle Man, we are very excited to welcome the brand new Sk8 Hi Vans in four on-trend colours that are sure to give you a whole new look both on the street and in the skate park this season.

Sk8 Hi Vans are without doubt my shoe of choice, whatever the occasion. Never failing to impress, the new season colours are everything I imagined and more from the brand, being both bright and on trend but still sticking to the classic silhouette that everybody knows and loves.

Introducing vivid blue, khaki, statement green and pale grey - colours that are extremely on trend this season but also perfect for wear all year round, you won't want to miss out on grabbing yourself a pair before it's too late.

Founded in 1966, Vans has grown to become one of the world's leading footwear brands for skate shoes, being the number one choice of trainer for an entire generation of skateboarders for both men and women. Having celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 2016, Vans continue to have an outstanding reputation and remain on top of the sneaker game five decades later.

I love the sleek contemporary look of Vans. A classic trainer steeped in skateboarding history, it has perfectly progressed into a more staple and classic style. Worn with a pair of jeans or a suit, Vans can really add that casual edge to any lookshopnow

On That Note

As big lovers of Vans here at The Idle Man we are excited to welcome the new range to our site, having grown up with the evolution of the skate shoe brand. With exciting new season colours there really is something for everybody, whether you're a skateboarder yourself or just a lover of shoes.
