Blissfields Festival is back for 2017 and we're giving you the chance to win two tickets! Take a look below to see how who's on and how you can win our amazing competition.
Blissfields has been hosting sold-outs crowds in its small but perfectly formed mini wilderness since 2001. It was proudly the first ever festival headline performances for Bastille and Everything Everything, and has over recent years invited many acclaimed and legendary acts including Mumford & Sons, Wolf Alice, Dizzee Rascal, Laura Marling, Sam Smith, Clean Bandit, Years & Years, Charli XCX, John Grant, The Horrors, London Grammar, Mystery Jets, Jake Bugg, and Tune-Yards to name a few.
The family friendly festival for forward thinking music fans will be inviting many of its collaborators back this year including the AIF Award Winners’ HIDDEN HEDGE who claimed the prize for most “Unique Festival Arena” of the year. Once again they’ll be building a dystopia within utopia… crash-landing its Boeing cockpit into a VJ stage.
The festival within a festival for little Blissfieldians and their families. ANGEL GARDENS is back in 2017 programming a non-stop multi venue experience for any age. Praised with a Gold Award by Festival Kidz, the area will see art, fantasy, sport, dance, music, dress-up, education and even some politics turned into fun and games designed to engage and entertain. Due to its high level of diverse programming Blissfields is classed as “off site learning” which means that parents can request a letter for schools that means that no days are marked as absent while at the event.
CRAFT AREA and an all new A-Z ARENA will be hosting immersive and hands-on activities across the weekend. Some theatrical twists while a newly designed and expanded THE LARCH will stage a mix of headline acts, new music and a return of one of 2016’s highlights the SILENT DISCO.
The epic Cinematic Orchestra playing a VERY rare festival appearance at Blissfields Festival as well as DJ Yoda's Stranger Things Mixtape, Pumerosa, Flamingods, Tom Grennan, DJ Lucky & MC Neat and more. They will be joining Metronomy, Lady Leshurr, Sundara Karma and The Japanese House for our tiny 5,000 capacity "The Bizarre"-theme weekend. Get ready to get weird!
