What is Pitti Uomo
Pitti Uomo, or Pitti Immagine is a bi-annual event that takes place in Florence, Italy at the Fortezza da Basso. It's a trade show where designers and brands from all over the world come together to showcase their brand to potential stockists or different shops. We're focusing on Pitti Uomo 90, which means that it's the ninetieth Pitti Uomo show that's taking place.

Men in Suits at Pitti Uomo
When we say colour, we mean colour. This sartorially educated man takes a pink suit and makes it seem so casual and effortless.
Men at Pitti Uomo like to play around with texture, as this dapper chap demonstrates. Go for a tweed number or seersucker suit to add texture and detail to your look.
Making themselves stand out from the crowd, these two stylish gents know how to rock a suit. Bright yellows and subtle burgundies, now that's a suit.
If you're feeling daring enough, then go for a white suit. Adding colour and detail into your look with a few accessories will make all the difference, as this Pitti Peacock knows all about.
Adding a modern twist to a classic never hurts. This green suit with a double breasted waistcoat adds full impact whilst keeping it in the 21st century.
Playing around with both texture and colour will create a totally different look. This Pitti Uomo follower teams a darker yellow suit with a pinstripe waistcoat underneath in the same hue.
They say that nothing beats the classics, and these stylish guys no exactly that. Teaming classic pieces together whilst incorporating a modern twist never hurts.
Detail can be your best friend as this man knows all about. A floral shirt mixed in with lapel pins and bracelets teamed with a classic suit.
Men in Patterned Suits at Pitti Uomo
Pattern is a big deal when you're attending Pitti Uomo as it can get you photographed by all of those street style photographers. Keeping it casual whilst having the full impact of a patterned waistcoat, it creates a cracking and subtly detailed look.
If you're really feeling the pattern, then you can always go for a full blown patterned blazer. Just remember to keep your outfit underneath simple, so it's not too in-your-face.
If it's in-your-face you want to be, then you can go for the whole patterned suit. These patterned Pitti Peacocks certainly know how to pull off a full blown patterned suit in style.
What we have here is a mixture of the modern and the classic. Taking classic pieces and adding your own little twist to them is what Pitti Uomo is all about, and that's why we love it.
Streetwear at Pitti Uomo
It's not all about the suits at Pitti Uomo however, as we saw a lot of streetwear intertwined amongst the suits. This gold jacket adds full impact and colour into this mans look. Even if you thought that the gold would never work, on this gent it certainly does.
Keeping it casual in tank tops and hats is probably the best bet when the hot Florentine sun is beating down on you. Teamed with a few simple accessories to add some detail, you can always keep cool and stylish.
Just because you're dressing like a gentlemen doesn't mean you can't add your own twist to your look. The beard, the ear piercing and the chains; everything is telling you it shouldn't work, but it does.

It's about time we start focusing on the accessories at Pitti Uomo. This pair of Raf Simons shoes are the perfect accompaniment to a casual look, especially at Pitti Uomo. Because they're in a multitude of colours, they will go with anything and everything.
Add in a hat here and there to add some colour and texture to your look. This guy teams a red hat with a neutral coloured outfit so it really stands out.
It's briefcase galore when you hit the streets at Pitti Uomo, but you do see the odd backpack here and there. This neutral coloured backpack looks great with a little bit of detail on the front pocket; a great accessory for a simple look.
