'MOREFIRE' hails back to Tiggs' time growing up with DJ Fingers and the sound system culture that he was exposed to. The mixtape came to fruition during studio sessions intended for his upcoming debut album, as a way for Tiggs to channel his creative energy into something a little different. "The mixtape is for the young ratchet me," he explains. "The stuff that I want to listen to before I go out to the club, stuff that my friends like to listen to. The mixtape is for the mandem."
Having moved from Tanzania to London at the age of eight, Tiggs is a particularly individual proposition. Inspired by obscure 60s documentaries as he is by east African Jazz, Grime MC Dizzee Rascal and classic Motown acts, the multi-faceted poet, rapper, singer, songwriter and producer is truly one of a kind. As Tiggs continues preparing his hotly impending debut album - which chronicles his life story in a way that he hopes will reach people all over the world - 'MOREFIRE' is an exquisite taster of what's still to come from one of the most exciting names in the UK music right now.
The eleven-track album features collaborations with some of Britains most creative and up and coming artists including, 'OPERATOR RIDDIM' ft NSG, 'NASTI RIDDIM' ft Not3s, 'PLAZA RIDDIM' ft K-Trap. After having huge success with his previous singles such as 'Georgia' and 'Oh My' which have a combined total of over 25 million streams on Spotify. 'Oh My' landed a coveted slot on the soundtrack to the huge Netflix show Top Boy. There's no doubt that this has been a highly anticipated release for fans.
