Milk Beach, London's Latest Neighbourhood Cafe

Milk Beach, London's Latest Neighbourhood Cafe

Organic coffee and natural tipples are what Milk Beach is built upon. Opening its doors for the first time back in August, Milk Beach has become a hot spot for London's coffee lovers.

Nestled comfortably into the European coffee culture that's hit the nation by storm, Milk Beach is one of London's latest neighborhood cafe's with an ethical heart at the centre of the hub. Founders, Elliot Milne and Matthew Robley-Siemonsma have both worked within the coffee industry for many years before knocking heads together and starting their very own cafe and wine bar. Robley has been in the industry for ten years working for high-end coffee brands. Whilst company partner Milne has worked in Ethiopia for the Coffee Initiative Project, helping thousands of coffee farmers improve the quality of their coffee.

With their heart set on providing the highest quality of coffee with traceable sources, they want to be open and honest with their customers. Their specialty coffee beans sourced from coffee farms around the world are roasted in-store weekly to ensure the beans keep their unique characteristics. Not just your ordinary coffee shop, Milk Beach also offers organic wine on its menu. Wine sourced from small independent winemakers who abide by low-intervention so their natural tipples reflect nothing but its individual origin. Ensuring that no one misses out on their fine wine menu, all listed are organic and vegan-friendly. Pairing their wine with their brunch and small plates menu, you will be able to relax and have every visit feel like a Sunday afternoon.

Milk Beach's Australian inspired menu offers some mouth-watering dishes which are sure to tickle those taste buds. Creating traditional dishes with personal touches the brunch menu offers, coddled eggs in a jar with cream and sweet potato puree, with sea salt and chives, served with sourdough soldiers. Or featuring on their small plates menu, why not try their beef cheek pappardelle with homemade taramasalata.

Effortlessly fitting in with the coffee club culture, Milk Beach's style-conscious cafe and wine bar is an open space set in a warehouse along Lonsdale Road letting you escape from the hustle and bustle of busy city life. The aesthetically pleasing interior is signed off with style and substance. It's flushed walls and vintage furniture welcome you to sit back and enjoy every sip of coffee in the way it's intended to.
