Bourne & Hollingsworth New Year's Eve House Party
Clerkenwell's Bourne & Hollingsworth is one of the nicest venues in London and consequently is one of the most popular places to grab brunch or lunch. This New Year's Eve, you can enjoy a night of partying, cocktails and banqueting in the impressive townhouse, which will be transformed for the special night.
The best thing about the night that Bourne & Hollingsworth will put on is that it literally feels like you have stepped outside of London and are instead at a country escape. Don't fancy a proper nightclub? This is the place to come. It will be a sophisticated evening with a champagne toast at midnight, a string band (don't worry, there will be a DJ as well for the majority of the night), all set in the comfort of the townhouse.
The event is expected to be an elegant evening, although it is New Year's Eve so anything goes we guess. Guests can throw on their finest outfits, drink cocktails at the stunning cocktail bar and be served canapés before moving through to the Garden Room and Greenhouse for a delicious New Year’s Eve banquet, courtesy of Head Chef Anthony Horn. If you do fancy a more informal evening, you can instead book in the bar for delicious cocktails and canapés.
This is definitely for the more low-key amongst us, who don't want to be up until 5am in a sweaty mess and would prefer to chuck on a smart shirt or even a suit. That said, the cocktails at Bourne and Hollingsworth will be in abundance, so don't think you won't be getting drunk. It is New Year's Eve after all!

E1 London 27 hour party
There a new venue in Wapping and it's about to put on a massive party for New Year's Eve. E1, previously Studio Spaces, will be throwing a massive 27 hour party and the likes of Âme, Mano Le Tough, Blawan and Avalon Emerson will be playing the marathon party, joined by newcomers Kiasmos and Denis Horvat.
Driven by a bold and unique vision, the visionary collective behind E1 has transformed a former factory into a vast, new music venue which is quickly going to become one of the capital's best (we believe so anyway). The newly opened venue will focus on electronic music and will showcase some of the world's best talent. On New Year's Eve, this vision becomes a reality and the mass expanse that is E1 London will be opening its doors for the first time. To celebrate, you'll be able to party for 27 hours non-stop (you can drop in at selected times too, so check the website for those if don't think you'd be able to handle over one whole day of dancing and drinking). Sound like your kind of a New Year's Eve party? We reckon this will be one of the best nights out this New Year's Eve, so go buy those tickets as soon as possible.
Tickets from £33, New Years Eve - 2nd January, E1W 2BB
North London's major dance venue Egg is infamous for its long opening hours, and this New Year's Eve is set to be no different with the famous venue throwing a massive party. New Year's Eve is going to be bigger and better than ever and Egg will be hosting an eight-hour New Year's Eve marathon. Thus far the line-up is looking to be pretty incredible, with DJ legends Pan-Pot, Dense and Pika and Tobi Neumann having signed up, but plenty more big names will be added to the lineup and of course there will be some surprises in store.
Egg is undoubtedly one of North London's best venues and if you live that way and don't want to venture into central London, we definitely recommend making this your venue of choice for seeing in the new year.
Tickets from £15, Sun, 31 Dec 2017, 21:00 – Mon, 1 Jan 2018, 05:00, N7 9AX
NYE at XOYO
Shoreditch-based XOYO is one of London's most popular clubs and it's not hard to see why, and not just for a New Year's Eve party. All year round the venue gets some of the best artists and DJs, with the likes of Motor City Drum Ensemble and Peggy Gou being regulars (last year Peggy Gou put on a set for New Year's Eve). This year is set to be bigger than ever and XOYO will see Jonas Rathsman and Space Dimension Controller take to the decks for a spectacular night.
Don't expect the glam and elegance of a Bourne and Hollingsworth style New Year's Eve party, as XOYO is renowned for its grimy floors and 'anything goes' mantra. Get ready to have a pretty great night. Note - if you haven't been to XOYO before, then you'll want to know that it is pretty small and so a T-shirt and jeans are all you will need, or you will see in the new year as a sweaty mess.
Tickets from £25, Sun, 31 Dec 2017, 21:30 – Mon, 1 Jan 2018, 05:00, EC2A 4AP

London's got a lot of clubs (and there seems to be one popping up every month now - hurrah, there was that time when clubbing seemed to be dying), but nothing really compares to Printworks, which opened earlier this year. The former printing factory is an epic space and has seen some of the best nights this year, becoming a lot of people's go-to for a reason to let loose on a Saturday. For New Year's Eve, the venue has a new licence which will see it stay open a whole lot later than usual, because in case you didn't know, that is the only issue with Printworks - it usually closes fairly early and is seen as more of a daytime event.
For New Year's Eve, house legends MK, Lee Foss and KC Lights will headline the Press Halls for the venue's first end of the year party, with Robert Dietz and Laura Jon
