Wilderness Festival announce new additions to lineup for Oxfordshire's biggest event of the year.

If you're not familiar with Wilderness festival then let us enlighten you. Now in it's 5th year, Wilderness invites us to think, explore and create.
Running from 4th-7th August 2016, Wilderness is an immersive festival that brings together music, food, dance and meditation for a 4 day deluge of escapism and adventure that attacks all the senses. Sleep under canvas in a native tipi or a let your imagination run riot as you camp in a gypsy caravan as you reinvent, re-imagine, reignite the arts with like minded adventurers.
Four stages play host to an eclectic blend of artists to play out an eclectic soundtrack to the mesmerising event. Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Crystal Fighters and Goldie & the Heritage Orchestra will all be playing the main stage, whilst brand new stage The Atrium showcase afrobeat sounds as well as the Wilderness Orchestra who will be performing a tribute to David Bowie.
On the Carousel Stage, Glastonbury's Shangri La programmer Chris Tofu is bringing together an assortment of boogie dance groups and accoustic sets, brass bands and ska, whilst over at the Travelling Folk Barn, hectic hoedowns will be played off against soulful melodic sessions. The Juke Joint can only be described as a rhythm and blues shack with blue grass and Americana from the deep south playing all through the night.
And that's just the music. If you're a self confessed foodie, expect to be surrounded by Instagram worthy nosh by the bucket load. Michelin star dining is the order of the day, but if that doesn't tickle your fancy there's gastro delights and dainty deli's at every turn including the Ella Woodward's The Mae Deli.
Looking to rediscover yourself in the serene tranquility of the British countryside? Wilderness have your back. Whether a lakeside spa, woodfire hot tubs or yoga and meditation sessions float your boat, the festival provides the perfect setting to loose yourself to total mindfulness.
New for 2016, the festival are introducing the Wilderness Playhouse Project, celebrating comedy, cabaret and drama. With live debates, workshops on everything from swing dancing to the ukulele and a whole Kids Corner dedicated to your little'uns, at Wilderness there really is something for everyone.
