The 1977 notorious Italian cult-classic horror 'Suspiria' is being revived and re-horrified for the modern screens by 'Call Me By Your Name Director' Luca Guadagnino.
Amazon Studios have revealed the first trailer for the upcoming remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 Italian horror classic. The trailer is composed by Them Yorke and has a slow gradual build-up of horror that is intensified by Guadagnino's slow burning cinematography that evokes a sense of horror from the psychological realm. With shots panning from maggots on a girl's head to minimal surrealism that just leaves you with questions - we have a feeling this will be one of 2018's top horror movies.
'Suspiria' is due out November 2nd and stars Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, Chloe Grace Moretz and Mia Goth. “A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe’s artistic director, an ambitious young dancer, and a grieving psychotherapist,” the film’s synopsis states. “Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.”
