As we approach the end of festival season, there’s one place that is yet to deliver its biggest festivals of the year – Croatia. With a slew of some of the biggest and most pioneering European festivals taking place in Croatia, it’s no wonder that many see it as the highlight of the festival calendar. Without a doubt, one of the most forward thinking and innovative parties out there is Outlook. Taking place just outside of the city of Pula, Outlook will be bringing yet another star-studded lineup on 31st August until 4th September.
With the very best in all types of bass music heading out there for mental all-nighters in the fort and boozey day time sessions on the boat parties, we thought we’d catch up with one of the pioneering figures of the dubstep scene. Hatcha. With some of most iconic dubstep releases to date under his belt and a strong affinity with the Outlook crowds, Hatcha has been flying the flag for British producers for over 10 years. We grabbed ten minutes with the truly innovative DJ and producer to talk 2016, upcoming projects and where he’s gaining inspiration at the moment.

What Artists Do you Look to for Inspiration?
Recently, to be honest, it's been my girlfriend (Sam Divine). This woman drives me to success being such a busy lady in her own genre she always gives me drive to do the same in my scene. Not forgetting my Agent Paul Sandilands, this fucker keeps me on my toes which is always needed, so big props to them both for keeping me in check.
Who’s Impressed You so Far In 2016?
Artists that have impressed me, well there's a few out there grafting hard which impresses me, the likes of Mala,Distance, Lost, Jakes and Swindle, these are lads that always graft and always impress me with their brilliant productions.
Where Can We Catch You Playing Over Summer?
You can catch me playing all over the place this summer, Outlook Festival Croatia, Freek festival Chicago, Meltdown Festival Detroit, Sidewinder festival Manchester, Fabric, Ministry, Ramjam for ole Rodigan, Amsterdam, Colorado for Submission and More so I can't complain.
Any Projects in the Pipeline we can Know about?
Yep always got a little project on the go, I'm just about to release ( Hatched 10 ) on my label @HatchedMusic. Release No10 is my first solo EP release in nearly seven years so I'm looking forward to that it also had two bonus tracks feat the Canadian bad man producer Abstrackt Sonance. Also, I've just done a remix for the Modestep lads (Rainbow) which is forthcoming on their album and there's a few more nice little remix's coming which I can't announce yet.
