We travel to Plovdiv, one of the World’s most ancient cities for My City. Guiding us around his city is Bulgarian techno producer Timmo. His talent in music was first sparked at the age of fourteen when he started composing music in popular genres.
Since then he has gone from strength to strength despite his relatively young age. The highpoint was releasing his record on prestigious techno record label Drumcode in 2014. Timmo show us the sights where he likes to go when out of the studio.

Where’s your preferred place to chill and clear your head?
Where serves the best breakfast?
I’m not a breakfast guy. Normally I would wake up, make my coffee and start working on some new song. But there is definitely a place where I love to go for a dinner after a long day in the studio. Hemingway, which is also located in the City Centre, is my favorite restaurant because of its delicious meals, friendly staff, cozy interior and fine wine selection.

How would you describe your city’s style?
People in Plovdiv are calm and they enjoy life as much as they can. The lifestyle is not as hectic as in the big cities, which is the charm of Plovdiv. Well, one of many.
Where are your favourite places to shop?
I’m a big fan of online shopping. It is very rare that I go out and buy clothes. I’m big fan of G-Star and Diesel and I spend a lot of time in their online stores.
