Last week we showed you round the small city of 's-Hergenbosch in the Netherlands with the help of model and blogger, Jous Kasmi and this week we hop over to Denmark to get the low-down on the best spots to visit in the capital - Copenhagen - according to blogger and photographer, Mikkel Weiss.
Don't forget to check out Mikkel's social media links after the jump, to stay up-to-date with whatever he's is doing next.
Bella Sky Bar has the best view of Copenhagen! It’s amazing when you are sitting and enjoying your dinner on the 21st floor while the sun sets in the horizon. Bella Sky Bar and the restaurant is a bit more pricey but trust me it’s worth the extra money because of the great atmosphere, the delicious food and, of course, the incredible view. It always makes my mood a hundred times better when I am spending time at this bar with friends before we carry on with our day in the city.
If you want a bit of culture I really recommend going to Copenhagen’s Botanical garden. It’s an amazing and inspiring place during summer with a lot of different cool tropical plants. As I said, it’s a great place to get inspired - but you can also just walk around in the big park or sit at the botanical café and catch up with a good friend. The whole environment is just so refreshing, you just feel like your mind-set have been cleaned. This place is also great if you just need to get some time off and forget about your stressful everyday life.
Nyhavn is a must-do if you ever come to Copenhagen. It is also a tourist attraction so it is not like I am giving you some kind of secret “scoop” or anything right now - but Nyhavn is really not overrated. Every summer my friends and I visit this place to eat an ice cream or drink a beer together while watching all the people pass by. It is the best thing to do on a warm summer day. The only problem about this place is the fact that the weather needs to be at a certain standard and since it is Denmark we are talking about you have three months (tops) with warm enough weather to sit here and eat or drink.
WokBar is the best wok place in all of Copenhagen! I discovered this place recently with one of my good friends, who is a big Asian food lover like myself. There is literally the coolest atmosphere at WokBar, everything just compliments each other - the music, the lighting and the food - everything is just perfect! One of the other things I really like about WokBar, which may sound a bit weird, is the fact that there are so many different non alcoholic drink options. I really hate it when you are driving or it’s like 12 pm and you are out eating and the only thing you can order to drink is water, sparkling water or some kind of soda…
